When creating your deck, you know exactly what is in it, therefore it will be easier to use it during the game. When adding cards to the deck, you are sure to consider their use, synergy and benefits that come with playing with such cards and not others.

Duck building ideas

Most of the players playing in Ranked mode are familiar with the decks that are currently in the finish line (especially in the higher ranks). If they encounter a different version of a given deck, they can get lost completely because they won’t know what dangers they will have to face.

Thanks to this, they can use their removals for completely evil purposes, and this will result in difficulties in later turns when real threats appear on the table. This is your greatest advantage!

By creating your deck, you adjust it to your style of play. If you feel comfortable during the game, it will have a positive effect on the number of wins.

Everyone has a different style of play, so some people feel better playing control decks and others aggressive. If you force yourself to play with a deck that you don’t like but is in the finish line, you may get discouraged from playing.

You don’t have to wait for the finish line to stabilize and the best decks to emerge. Who knows, maybe your deck will be the most popular in the coming season?

Playing with your deck, you will learn more about the gameplay than if you stripped someone else’s deck.

Magic curve

The magic curve can be defined as the ratio of the number of cards to their cost, which is shown in the chart. This system allows you to easily see if there are too many cards with low cost or very high magic cost in the deck. Thanks to this, you can avoid situations in which you get rid of all cards too quickly or you will not be able to play anything during the first turns (cards with too much cost).

The best Duck buuilding

Draw cards in such a way that you have a chance to play something each turn. It is known that low cost cards (1,2,3 mana) have to be more than high magic cost cards (6, 7 and more) to have a better chance of a good start.

Drawing cards

The more cards you have in your hand, the more room you have to maneuver and the ability to react to the situation that currently occurs on the table. Therefore, the cards that allow you to draw more cards are very important in any deck.

In The Elder Scrolls: Legends, there are all kinds of ” matchmakers “, such as Varanis Courier , Rajhin ‘s Robber . However, be careful that your deck does not contain too many cards with a draw, because this may result in the cards expiring too quickly.

Removals, i.e. the ability to neutralize the opponent’s cards

Each deck must contain cards that allow you to immediately eliminate your opponent’s minion (s).

You can find really powerful minions at a low cost in the game. It is very important to be able to neutralize such a card, because by taking at least 7 damage per turn, you can quickly lose the game. Each class has its removals, such as Sharp Javelin , Exile .

Card synergy

Cards for the deck should be selected in such a way that they can be compatible with each other.

There are a lot of synergy effects, and examples include, for example, strengthening the attack or health points of creatures that are already on the table, summoning additional units, resurrecting previously killed creatures, activating additional effects and many others.

If there are cards in your deck that work well together and can cause additional effects, you have more options to play.

Ranks

The board on which the duel takes place is divided into two rows. The player can set up to 4 Creatures in each of these ranks. When playing a Creature, the player chooses which row it belongs to. It should be noted here that a Creature in one row cannot attack other creatures in the other row.

Front row

The simplest ranks available because there are no additional rules here. The played creatures are free to fight each other. You can place up to 4 creatures in the front row at once.

Tactical series

There is an additional rule in the tactical row. Each Creature played in this row receives a Shield for one turn and cannot be attacked until the next turn of the player who played it (not counting spells with area damage). In the tactical row, you can also place up to 4 creatures at once.

Special series

While playing The Elder Scrolls: Legends, you may come across special ranks with various rules of the game. For example:

  • Cabinet of mirrors – if the cabinet of mirrors row is empty when playing a Creature to the second row, you will automatically receive a copy of it in the special row.
  • Graveyard – for each creature killed in this row, the game will summon a 1/1 Skeleton.
  • Barracks – When you summon a Creature in this row, you draw a card.
  • Siege – the creatures have Breakthrough here .
  • Types of decks and their synergy

In The Elder Scrolls: Legends, the player has 5 different decks at his disposal (not counting neutral cards), which differ from each other in the style of play. Interestingly, the player can create a unique combination by combining any two decks. Thanks to this kind of play, the gameplay becomes a bit more varied, and the player has to expect everything from his opponent.
